60 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London

60 Brompton Road is a mixed use scheme located in Knightsbridge, London opposite the famous Harrods department store.  The development comprises of a retail ground floor with 28 luxury apartments above.  The upper most 2 levels contain 2 penthouse apartments with their own private gardens and expansive views over London.  All of the apartments enjoy an outdoor balcony area.

The project sensitively marries its contemporary commercial and retail neighbours as well as the surrounding historical buildings with the use of Portland stone and terracotta panels.  Triple glazed, full height windows ensure that the noise pollution from Brompton Road cannot be heard within the apartments.

The project was undertaken by the directors of URL whilst working in the offices of SMC Zeidler.
