One Central Park is a luxurious 45 storey condominium development comprising 359 apartments and duplex units arranged over 3 distinct vertical zones.
The development has been designed as a model of sustainable, high-density parkland living. Responding to the climatic condition of the tropics, the building has been design to maximise cross natural ventilation and natural light into the development. Orientated on a northeasterly - southwesterly axis, deep recesses between the apartments contain vertical planting in the form of 'sky gardens'; an extension of the landscaped ground floor and podium park. The recesses allow natural light to penetrate into the circulation areas and capitalise on the prevailing breezes to naturally ventilate the spaces whilst providing acoustic privacy and allowing all rooms to be naturally lit and ventilated.
