Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur

The project is a mixed use scheme comprising 2 towers (60 storeys and 40 storeys) with a gross floor area of 100,000sqm. The towers are arranged to maximise the panoramic views to the Petronas Towers, the Menara KL and to the mountains beyond.

Structurally the building uses an exoskeleton to minimize internal columns and keep the commercial spaces as flexible as possible. The structural depth of the exoskeleton allows the façade to be naturally shaded throughout the day. The offset from the structure to the façade forms a natural heat stack up which cool air is drawn from the plaza to reduce the additional cooling load required internally.

Entry to the two towers is via the public plaza that runs through the heart of the scheme. Shade offered by the planting and the location of water features, cool the microclimate to allow the space to be occupied throughout the day.Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur
