Westside III, Kuala Lumpur

Westside III is a luxurious 49 storey condominium development comprising 469 apartments. It is arranged in 3 separate wings 'stitched' together with continuous sky gardens extending the full height of the residential tower.

The sky garden areas capture prevailiing breezes and direct them into the internal circulation spaces from which the apartments are entered.  This works in unison with the 49 storey voids running through the entire height of the development, which vent hot air out through the top of the tower drawing cooler air up from the lower levels whilst delivering natural light to the circulation spaces.

Externally the facade reflects the organisation of the apartment plans.  Generous balcony spaces break up the facade into a series of clearly defined vertical zones whilst the solid panels to the bedroom elevations create a playful shifting pattern on the facade and add privacy to these spaces.
